How do I access money in my Rewards Checking Plus account?

You can use your Upgrade Visa® Debit Card wherever Visa is accepted. It’s also easy to add your debit card to Apple Pay ® or Google Wallet ™ so you can take advantage of contactless technology and pay with your device at participating merchants. When you use your debit card (or your mobile wallet) for purchases, you’ll earn up to 2% cash back on common everyday expenses and up to 1% on everything else.*

It’s also easy to link an external bank account and transfer money between accounts if you need to. Simply sign in to your Rewards Checking Plus account and tap transfer at the bottom of your screen.

*Non-Active Accounts accrue 1% cash back on common everyday expenses at convenience stores, drugstores, restaurants and bars - including deliveries - and gas stations, as well as recurring payments on utilities and monthly subscriptions including phone, cable, TV and other streaming service and 0.50% cash back on all other eligible debit card charges. Active Accounts accrue 2% cash back on common everyday expenses (maximum of $500 in 2% rewards per calendar year) and unlimited 1% cash back on all other eligible debit card purchases, including on common everyday expenses after the $500 maximum.
