Why did I receive a Flex Pay refund via Zelle?

We know receiving a refund through Zelle might seem unexpected, so here’s a quick rundown of why it happened and what it means for you.

Whenever possible, we aim to return your refund to the original payment method. If that's not feasible, we use Zelle as a fast and secure alternative to sending a paper check. Zelle allows us to get your refund to you quickly and without delay.

If you're already using Zelle, the process is simple. Your refund will automatically be sent to your bank account within 3-4 business days, using the contact details you provided to Flex Pay. No extra action is required on your part.

Not familiar with Zelle? No problem. You’ll receive a text within 3-4 days with easy-to-follow instructions on how to access your funds. Setting up your Zelle account within 14 days will help speed up the process. If you’d rather not use Zelle, we’ll send you a check, though please note that this can take an additional 2-3 weeks.
