Fintech Company Recognized for Dedication to Employee Success and Satisfaction

San Francisco - March 6, 2018

Upgrade, Inc., a consumer credit platform that combines personal loans with tools that help consumers understand and monitor their credit, announced that it has been named a ‘Best Place to Work in the Bay Area’ finalist in the small company category by the San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal.

The award is exclusively based on employees’ responses to a third-party survey that rates their company’s values such as leadership, company culture, engagement, and career growth as well as work environment, benefits, and compensation. The nomination pool included 500+ applicants across the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley.

“Our talented team and innovative company culture are the foundation of our business, a key differentiator, and core to our success,” said Renaud Laplanche, co-founder and CEO of Upgrade. “Being honored as a ‘Best Place to Work in the Bay Area’ is especially exciting because it is based solely on employee feedback. We’re committed to fostering a dynamic, diverse and collaborative environment that attracts top talent and gets people excited to come to work every day.”

According to Glassdoor reviews from Upgrade’s San Francisco headquarters employees, the company has scored a five star overall rating, 100% of employees would recommend the company to a friend, and 100% CEO approval. Upgrade was also recently named the #1 Personal Loan option in Q4 2017 by LendingTree customers.
